The New Order of the 21st Century represents the result of a long historical, political, economic, and geopolitical process that began with the French and Industrial Revolutions, which consolidated the modern state, capitalism, and Western hegemony. Today, however, these structures show clear signs of exhaustion. In place of the stability promised by progress, what emerges is technological acceleration, a crisis of political institutions, the reconfiguration of labor through automation and artificial intelligence, the shift of the axis of power from the North to the Global South, and a new geopolitics marked by informational disputes, hybrid wars, and digital sovereignty. These transformations indicate that the 21st century does not merely inaugurate a new phase of capitalism, but rather a civilizational rupture in which technological control and human consciousness compete to define the meaning of the future, which remains open and deeply contested.
